A new objective emerged with the help of retail outlets like Lowe's and John Deere Landscapes.

OF THE YEAR
The Sports Turf Managers Association actively rewards innovation in the sports turf industry. The David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va. was recognized as the 2001 FOOTBALL FIELD OF THE YEAR in the College/University category.
