T-10 is the best turfgrass for the high traffic lawn. T-10 is a new, ultra low maintenance bermuda grass with a deep, blue-green color selected by the renowned Coastal Plain Experiment Station in Tifton, GA. It has excellent cold hardiness and has the unique characteristic of very slow upright growth. Mowing can be reduced by as much as 50% compared to traditional bermudagrass varieties. It has a medium coarse leaf blade, allowing it to be easily maintained with a rotary type mower. T-10 is an ideal selection for active home lawns, parks and recreation areas, and low-maintenance athletic fields. If you have a high traffic lawn but don't have the time to maintain it, plant some T-10, park the lawn mower, and enjoy your beautiful, low maintenance lawn.
